Roll 1/4 dough into ball. Pull in 1/2.
For big cookies,place jagged ends face up and mash together at base.
For small ones, put each jagged end face up separately.
Place 12 to a cookie sheet.
Bake, reversing position of cookie sheets about 2 minutes into baking - top to bottom and front to back -, until cookies are light golden brown and outer edges start to harden yet centers are still soft and puffy - will look slightly uncooked.
Cool cookies on cookie sheets and peel from parchment paper.
