Partially break up the rosemary, thyme and fennel seeds with
fingers
or a mortar and pestle
PLace all ingredients, except wine and shrimp in a large pot.
Simmer
for about 30 minutes, then addwine. Continue to simmer for a
total
cooking time of no more than 2 hours.
Just before serving, add raw shrimp. Simmer until shrimp is
done,
stirring, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Each bowl should contain a lot of broth which should cover the
shrimp.
You don't really need utensils with this justthebread.
I usually keep the shells on the shrimp because they add to the
flavor
but that can be your call...
