1 Refrigerator pie pastry dough
|

6 golden delicious apples, peeled, cored and sliced 1/8” thick
|

¼ c. sugar or Splenda
|
|
½ stick butter, sliced thin
|
|
½ c. Apricot jam, heated and strained
|

Instructions |
|
|
Fit pastry dough into a 10” tart tin with a removable fluted trim. Arrange the apples decoratively on the pastry shell overlapping them
|
|
|
Sprinkle the sugar or Splenda on top of the apples. Top with butter slices
|
|
|
Bake in the middle of the oven for 45 minutes at 375º
|
|
|
When tart is done, brush with apricot jam while tart is still hot. Fruit options- Peaches, Pears, Plums, Apricots
|
