1 pkg wonton wrappers

1 pkg cream cheese
|
|
3 shallots, chopped
|

1 clove garlic, minced
|

olive oil
|

water, as needed

1 tbsp thinly sliced scallions

soy dipping sauce:
|
|

1/2 cup soy sauce
|
|
1/4 cup water
|
|
2 tsp sugar
|
|
2 tbsp thinly sliced scallions
|

Instructions |

|
Saute shallots and garlic in olive oil. mix together cream cheese, scallions and sauteed shallots and garlic in a bowl.

Place wrappers on work surface. Place 2 teaspoons filling in center. Brush edges with water. Fold wrappers diagonally in half; press edges to seal.

|
fry in olive oil til brown and crisp.
|
|
|
for dipping sauce, mix together soy sauce, water and sugar. stir until sugar is dissolved. Just before serving, stir in scallions.
