Thoroughly wash and rinse the mimosa bark. Bring the water to a slow boil and add the bark. Let it boil until the water turns a yellowish color. Strain the water and return it back to the burner, turning the heat down to low.
Put about 1 tsp lavender in a tea ball and let it sit in the tea. Taste periodically until it is fragrant and not too strong.
Add sweetener to taste and enjoy!
