Melt butter in large saucepan over medium hear.
Saute onions and garlic.
Add brooth and bring to boil.
Add tortellini & cook 5 minutes (less for fresh)
Add tomatoes and liquid.
Reduce heat to simmer.
Stir in spinach and basil. Cook til wilted.
Note- Tortellini can get mushy if soup cooks in crockpot/stockpot for more than 1 hour. Suggest cooking tortellini in chicken broth, drain, reserve broth and continue with directions. Add cooked tortellini 20-30 minutes before serving.
