Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and egg. Shape into patties. Cook over medium heat until brown. Drain. Add onion, broth and mushrooms. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer until beef is done (about 10-15 minutes).
