Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Beat the butter and sugars together
until creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla and cream. Then add flour,
baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; mix well. Stir in oats, raisins, and
nuts.
Drop by tablespoon fulls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10
to 12 minutes or until golden. Cool for one minute and serve.
If you want, you can take these cookies and make and ice cream
sandwich out of them. Place one cookie on the bottom and a scoop
of your desired ice cream in the middle and place another cookie
on top.
