Cream Cheese Pastry- Beat cream cheese and margarine in large bowl until smooth. Add flour. Mix well. Shape into flattened disc. Wrap with plastic wrap. Chill for at least one hour.
Mushroom Filling- Melt margarine in large frying pan on medium. Add onion and mushrooms. Cook for about 10 mins, stirring often, until softened. Add next 4 ingredients. Heat and stir for 1 min. Add sour cream. Heat and stir until boiling and thickened. Remove from heat. Cool to room temperature.
Roll out pastry on lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut inot 3 inch circles. Roll out scraps, to cut more circles. Place about 1 1/2 tsp filling in centres of circles. Bruch half of each edge with egg. Fold pastry over filling. Pres edge together with fork or fingers to seal.
Arrange on greased baking sheets. Brush tops with egg. Cut small vents in tops of turnovers to allow steam to escape. Bake in 450° oven for about 10 mins. until golden
