Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl combine ground beef, diced onion, Italian bread crumbs, eggs and about 1/4 c. ketsup, until combined well.
In a loaf pan, spray a light coating of Pam, and add your meatloaf. Press and form to get an even shape and depth for cooking, and ketsup to the top and spread on before putting in the oven.
Bake for 15 minutes per pound, or until it is no longer pink in the center, usually about 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and let set for about 10 minutes, slice and serve.
