Heat oven to 400. Cook cream cheese, broth and milk in saucepan on medium heat until cheese is melted and mixture comes to boil, stirring constantly with whisk.

Layer the potatoes, onions and bacon bits (end with bacon bits on top in 13x9 inch baking dish. Add cream cheese sauce. Cover. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until potatoes ae tender and top is golden brown.

|
Uncover and add shredded cheese and return to oven for 10 mins until cheese is melted.
