In a 6 qt pan, heat oil. Add bell pepper, onion, garlic and chilies and saute until tender.
Add broth, chicken, soup, tomatoes, corn, Worchestershire, cumin and chili powder. Season to taste with salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce.
Simmer for about 3 hours.
To serve, place tortilla pieces in soup bowl, ladle soup and top with 2 T cheese. Garnish with avocado or lime slices if desired. Makes 8 servings.
