Combine yeast, sugar and warm water. Let yeast rise.
Add flour and salt, lightly knead into a ball. Let rise.
Roll dough into a rectangle, cut into even strips with a pizza cutter.
Melt butter, pour onto cooking sheet. Dip breadsticks in butter and then line in pan. Cover with parmesan and garlic salt to tast. Bake at 350 degrees for ten minutes or until golden brown.
