1 1/2 lb. broccoli, cut into flowerets and pared stem pieces
1/2 c. sesame oil
8 fresh mushrooms, quartered
1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 lb. top sirloin, cooked and cut into thin strips
14 oz. can artichoke hearts, quartered
2 avocados, cut into chunks, sprinkled with lemon juice
1 T. toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
Stir-fry broccoli stem pieces in 1/4 c. oil in large deep skillet for 2 minutes. Add flowerets and continue to stir-fry for 4 minutes until crisp tender. Transfer to large serving bowl.
Stir-fry mushrooms in remaining oil for 4 minutes. Add to broccoli in bowl.
In small bowl, combine vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and sugar. Pour over vegetables and mix well. Stir in beef, artichoke hearts, and avocado. Refrigerate 3-4 hours. Sprinkle with sesame seeds just before serving.
