3 cups cake and pastry flour
|

3 tsp. baking powder
|

pinch salt
|

1/2 cup butter/margarine
|

1/4 cup sugar
|

1 egg in cup, add milk to make 1 cup liquid

Instructions |
|
|
Add all dry ingredients and butter; make a fine meal.
|

|
Make a well and add liquid. Stir with knife. Make a ball.
|
|
|
Put onto floured board, form a sausage roll, cut into round circles.
Cut each circle into 4.
|
|
|
Place 10 scones in 1 electric fry pan at 350 degrees, then turn
down to 300-325 degrees.
