Brown onion in grease; add seasonings and chicken; brown 10 minutes. Add water; cover and let simmer slowly until tender-about 45 min.(or pressure cooker 8-10 mins)

Remove chicken; add sour cream to drippings in pan and mix well. For more gravy add 1/2 pint sweet cream to sour cream. Add flower to thicken.

Add dumplings to gravy and arrange chicken on top. Heat through and serve.

DUMPLINGS- Mix all ingredients together and beat with spoon. Drop batter by teaspoonful into boiling salted water. Drain well and add to paprikas.
