Trim excess fat from beef. Heat oil in 10 inch skillet and brown on all sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper

Place onions in a 3 1/2 to 6 qt. slow cooker.
Place beef on onions.

|
Mix remaining ingredients, pour over beef & onions. Cover and cook on low heat 8 to 10 hours or on high 5 to 6 hours or until beef is tender.

|
Leftover idea. Cut up to 2 cups of the beef and onions and add to your favorite spaghetti sauce.
