1 1/2 c chopped or coarsely grated cheese such as Asiago, Jack or Mozzarella

1/2 c coarsely chopped fresh basil

1 c diced fresh tomoatoes (peel, juice and seed before dicing)

3 to 5 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 c coarsely chopped black kalamata olives
|

2 or 3 baguettes, sliced about 1/4 inch thick

Instructions |
|
|
Combine cheese, basil, tomatoes, garlic and olives. This can be done several hours or a day before serving.

Spread the mixture on the bread slices. Broil until lightly browned and bubbly, about 5 to 8 minutes. Serve immediately.
