2 cans blackeyed peas, heated

1 c chopped ham
|

1 cu finely chopped onion

1/2 t hot pepper sauce

2 T oil

1/2 t salt

3 c cooked rice

Instructions |

|
Saute ham, onions and hot peper sauce in oil over med heat for 3 to 5 mins. Stir frequently until onions are soft but not yet browned.

|
Combine blackeyed peas, ham mixture and rice, then heat.
|
|
|
Garnish with slices of ham.
|
|
