Cook 1/2 onion and 3 garlic cloves in 1/4 cup of olive oil. Add dried oregano and red pepper flakes. Add vodka. Reduce down.

Drain tomatoes and crush into oil mixture. Add salt and pepper. Bake at 375 for 1 1/2 hours. Cook penne pasta in salt water.

take sauce out of oven. put in blender and blend until smooth. Return to sauce pan. Add fresh oregano. Add 1/2 to 1 cup of heavy cream. Add salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes.

Add pasta to sauce and cook. Add a little parmesan cheese and stir in. Top with parmesan and serve.
