Combine sugar and syrup in 3 quart saucepan. Cook
over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until
mixture begins to bubble. Remove from heat. Stir
in peanut butter; mix well. Add Rice Krispies; stir
till well blended.
Press mixture into buttered 9x13 ince pan. Melt
chocolate and butterscotch chips together in
microwave safe bowl, 20 seconds at a time till
well blended and melted. Spread evenly over Rice
Krispies mixture. Cool until firm. Yields 48
bars, 2x1 inch.
