1 Medium Hershey's Milk or Dark Chocolate Bar or chips
1 Tbls. Cinnamon
4 Tbls Chili Powder
1 Tbls. Cumin 2 C sliced mushrooms
6 - 9 10 oz Cans Diced - Stewed Tomatoes ( use different kinds and brands)
1 Can Sweet Corn or Mexican Corn
3 Jalepenos - chopped
3 Green Chilis - chopped
1 - 2 C Sharp Cheddar Cheese - shredded
2 Can Beer 3 dashes Tobasco
2 Large Cans Red Kidney Beans - drain and rinse
2 tsp salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder
Instructions
Brown and lightly drain ground beef.
Brown and drain ground sausage.
Add salt, pepper, chili powder, onion and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly.
Set aside.
Fry 2 finely chopped onions, minced garlic, and cinnamon powder in butter until golden, add 1 TBLS water and stir. Set aside.
Fry mushrooms with cumin powder, set aside.
Fry green peppers, chili peppers, tobasco in a little butter and 1 can of beer. When soft, and half the liquid is cooked off, set aside.
In a very large heavy pot, put ground beef and sausage. Add in all the canned tomatoes and kidney beans. Mix well.
Add onion mixture.
Add mushroom misture.
Add pepper mixture.
Add Corn.
Add Chocolate.
Add 1 C. Shredded Cheddar Cheese.
Add aditional Chili powder if necessary.
Cook until heated through and boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer for at least one hour.
1/2 hour before serving add cooked rice and continue simmering.
Serve with chopped onion/shredded cheddar cheese/diced Bell peppers and warm cornbread or Fritos.
