1/4 lb sliced prosciutto, chopped into narrow strips 2-3 inches long
1 sm white cooking onion minced
1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (15oz) crushed tomatoes
20 leaves fresh basil roughly cut or torn
1 C frozen peas
1 bl fettuiccini or linguine, cooked until al dente
Instructions
Heat garlic, oil and red peppers flakes in deep skittet over med heat until garlic speaks. Add prosciutto and onions and cook another couple of minutes to sweeten the onion. Add tomatoes and basil. When basil wilts reduce heat to low. Drain cooked pasta. Add peas to sauce. Toss pasta with sauce and dump into serving platter
