1 lb ground beef, or 1/2 lb each of ground beef and italian sausage
1 medium onion chopped
1 medium green pepper chopped
1 cup or small can chopped mushrooms (optional)
1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
2 cups shredded italian blend cheese (or mozzarella)
Pepperoni
Instructions
Cook spaghetti noodles al dente. Drain. In medium bowl beat eggs and parmesan cheese, stir in spaghetti noodles. Spread in bottom of a sprayed 9X13 pan or casserole dish
Mix together cottage cheese, ricotta, eggs and mozzarella. Spread gently over noodle layer
Brown ground beef (and sausage if using). Drain and set aside. Saute onion, pepper and mushrooms until tender, add browned ground beef and spaghetti sauce. Spread over noodles in pan. Top with cheese and pepperoni
Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes
