Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large
saucepan.
Add onion, garlic, and green pepper. Saute until
very tender. Add the tomatoes and their llquid.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and adjust seasonings to
taste. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Serve over rice.

Suggestions
Serve over white or yellow rice, with sweet plantains and Cuban bread.
