sprinkle the yeast over water let stand 5 min
|

|
mix yeast mix milk sugar salt eggs shortening and 2 cups flour mix 1/2 cup flour at a time until dough is not sticky

|
place dough in greesed bowl let double
roll dough out 1/2 inch thick cut with cuttter
cover let double
|
|
|
glaze melt butter stir in sugar and vanilla until smooth remove from heat stir in hot water until thin
fry dounuts 350
dip in glaze
