Place dry cake mix in a Large mix n store pitcher, then add softened butter and egg. Blend thoroughly. Place dough on lightly floured Pastry sheet and roll with rolling pin to 1/4 inch thickness.
Cut into desired shape.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375° for 6-10 minutes.
Makes 3-4 dozen two-inch cookies or 12-15 four-inch cookies.
