1 1/2 lbs. shrimp, cooked and drained

1 lb. crab meat
|

1/2 c. sherry
|

2 egg yolks
|

1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated

1 Tbs. lemon juice
|

1/4 tsp. nutmeg
|
|
1 1/2 sticks butter
|
|
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbs. flour
|

1 quart half and half
|
|
1 tsp. salt
|

1/2 c. cream
|

Instructions |

|
Mix seafood, sherry, lemon juice and nutmeg. Refridgerate over night.

Melt butter and blend in flour and half anf half. Add salt and cook over low heat until thickened, about 20 minutes.

combine beaten eggs and cream. Add to sauce. Stir in cheese until it melts. Add seafood and marinade. Heat. Can be thinned with milk or sherry.
