In a small skillet, over medium heat, saute onion 4 minutes. Add garlic, jalapeno, and cumin. Cook, stirring often, until fragrant, 1-2 minutes. Cool. Heat grill. Meanwhile, in a food processer, combine beans, bread and tomato paste. Pulse until well mashed, then add cilantro, salt, pepper and the reserved onion mixture. Pulse several more times, then transfer to a bowl. Add turkey, mix well, and shape into four 3/4 inch patties. Grill the burgers until they register 165 F on an instant thermometer, about 5 minutes per side. Toast the buns on the edge of the grill and serve.
