Spice tenderloin with any combination of spices. I use salt, pepper, chili powder and something sweet. I have an epicure mix called Sambal that I like. Sear in a pan
Saute onions in butter
place tenderloin, onions and can of Dr Pepper in crock pot for at least 6 hrs on low.
When done, pour in your favorite bbq sauce, pull apart and serve on toasted buns
