Preheat oven to 200 degrees and place medium dish in ove to warm.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Brush chops with oil and place in hat pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook 8-10 min, turning occasionally or until done. Transfer to the warm dish, and keep warm in the preheated oven.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add butter to skillet and stir in brown sugar mixture until blended. Add apples, stir until coated, cover and cook until apples are tender.
Remove apples with a slotted spoon and arrange on top of pork chops. Keep warm in preheated oven. Continue cooking sauce uncovered in the skilled until thickened slightly. Spoon sauce over apples and chops. Sprinkle with pecans.
