2 pounds round steak in ½ inch strips

3 tablespoons oil
|

1 medium onion, diced
|

¼ cup soy sauce
|

¼ cup sugar
|

1 teaspoon salt
|

Pepper
|

¼ teaspoon ginger
|
|
2 green peppers, cut in strips
|

4 tomatoes, quartered
|
|
1/4 cup water
|
|
1 tablespoon cornstarch
|
|
1 cup bean sprouts, optional
|
|

|

|

|

Instructions |

|
Brown strips of round steak in oil. Add onion, soy sauce, sugar, seasonings, green pepper, tomatoes, and water. Cook for 15 minutes.
|

Mix cornstarch with a little water and add. Cook for 5 minutes. Bean sprouts may be added last if desired.
|
|
|
Serve over white rice. Serves 4 to 6. We like to double the sauce mixture of soy sauce, sugar, salt, and ginge. ENJOY!
