Instructions
Heat olive oil in large saute pan over medium heat. Add carrots and saute 2 mins. Add onion and celery, cook stirring occasionally until onions are translucent, about 5 mins. Add garlic and cook about another minute. Remove from heat, remove veggies from pan to a medium sized bowl, set aside.
Using same pan salt bottom of pan and over high heat crumble the ground beef into the pan using half of the meat at a time, remove finished batch and cook remaining half, drain fat
Return meat and veggies to pan, add ketcup, tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce, vinegar and brown sugar to pan, mix well. Add cloves, thyme, cayenne pepper. Lower heat to medium low and let simmer for about another 10 minutes.
