Add yeast to luke warm water with 1 Tbsp Sugar and set aside.
Mix boiling water, 3/4 cup sugar and shorting, let cool
Add cold water, salt and eggs, then add yeast mixture and flour. Stir in flour, one cup at a time
Dough may be refrigerated several days. If using right away cover large bowl and let dough rise in warm place until doubled.
Then punch down dough, turn onto floured board and roll to 3/4 inch thick.
Cut out rolls with a drinking glass or biscuit cutter, place in greased pan and cover with was paper and let rise until doubled.
Bake in 375 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
