500g beef mince
|

1/2 cup bacon, diced
|
|
2 onions, diced
|
|
2 x 400g cans diced tomatoes
|
|
1 capsicum, diced
|
|
3 tsp garlic
|
|
2 Tblsp chilli powder
|
|
1 cup water
|
|
1 x can red kidney beans, washed and drained
|

Instructions |

|
Cook bacon until crisp, add beef and cook until brown.
|
|
|
Add all other ingredients except beans, and simmer on medium-low until sauce thickens (approx 30 mins). Stir occasionally.
|
|
|
Add beans and heat through for 5 mins. Serve with rice, cous cous, tortilla or pasta.
