6 (7-1/2 inch) flour tortillas

4 (4 oz.) cans chopped green chiles, drained
|

1/2 lb. Canadian bacon or ham, cut in slivers
|

4 C. monterey jack cheese, shredded
|

5 eggs, beaten
|
|
2 C. milk
|
|
1 t. salt
|
|

Instructions |

|
Generously grease 9x13 baking pan. Cover bottom with tortillas, cutting to fit without overlapping.
|

Sprinkle with half the chiles, half the meat and half the cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese.
|
|
|
In medium bowl, combine eggs, milk and salt. Pour over layered ingredients. Le stand in refrigerator at least 1/2 hour or overnight.
|
|
|
Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 45-60 minutes, or until strata is slightly puffed and bubbly. Cool 5 minutes, cut into squares.
