1 bag ( 20 oz) simply potatoes diced or has browns
2 Tblsp flour
1 Tbsp tony chacheres seafood seasoning
3 cups chicken broth and 1 cup of pool side pinot grigio wine
4 cups of corn
2 cups ( 1 pint) half and half or heavy cream
Instructions
cook bacon in large skillet until browned. Discard all but 1 Tbsp bacon drippings. Meanwhile cook potatoes briefly in microwave, then saute in pan drippings about 3 minutes.
stir in flour and seafood seasoning until well blended, gradually add broth and wine, bring to a boil and cook about 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
stir in corn and cream, return chowder to a boil. add shrimp, simmer very gently for 2-3 minutes or until shrimp just begin to curl.
