1/2 cup each- orange liqueur or triple sec and orange juice (or all orange juice)
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. each- ground allspice and cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
Place yams in a large pot fitted with a steamer basket. Steam for 15 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork. Let cool slightly, then arrange in a lightly buttered 13x9-inch baking dish.
Preheat oven to 425 F. Bring cranberries, liqueur, juice, butter, brown sugar, and spices to a boil in a small saucepan, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Drizzle yams with orange mixture and sprinkle with pecans. Bake for 30 minutes.
