Mix at medium high speed for 2 min. until light and fluffy....
butter, 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 t salt. Set to low and slowly
add 1 c flour until combined. Press into greased 9 x 13 pan,
Bake at 325 for 15 min or until golden brown. Cool 20 min.
Whisk eggs, 1 c sugar, and vanilla. Add 2 T flour, baking
powder and remaining 1/4 tsp salt. Stir in coconut and
almonds and spread over crust. Bake 325 20-25 min until
top is golden brown. Cut into bars while warm.
I did not toast the coconut and I used roasted almonds.
