melt butter w/ olive oil in havey med skillet over high heat. season chicken w/ salt and pepper. add chicken to skillet ans saute until brown, about 2 min per side. using tongs, transfer chicken to palte. add mushrooms and garlic to skillet. saute until mushrooms are tender, abou 4 min Return chicken to skillet. overlatp 4 lemon slices on each piece of chicken. Pour white wine and lemon juice around chicken. reduceheat to low. cover skillet and simmer until chicken is cooked thorugh, about 5 min. uncover and simmer until suce is reduced and thickens slightly aobut 5 min
