Marinate fish with chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice.
Soak tamarind pulp in 1 cup warm water.After 10 minuites, strain the pulp and discard, leaving the tamaring juice.

Heat gingelly oil, add mustard seeds & when they crackle, add cumin and fenugreek seeds, curry leaves. Add chopped onions and fry unil onions are soft. Now add ginger garlic paste and fry well until the raw smell of ginger garlic paste goes off and add chilli powder,salt, coriander powder and saute and add tomatoes and fry until tomatoes are cooked. Add tamarind water and cook for 10 minuites and now add marinated fish and simmer and cook for 10 moeminuites.
